Trent: “Does Morgul ever get put on time-out?”
"Not yet. But he just might if he sets my bedding on fire again." Allya smirked.
"He did what?" Trent asked, surprised. "You should invest in fire-proof bedding."
"Or keep a water dragon around," Blaine suggested, earning himself a side-eye from Trent.
"He didn't mean it. Just got over excited and spit fire. He's still learning." Allya reached out to pet the little lava dragon who cooed cutely.
Trent smiled at the little guy. "Hey there," he said. "I'm Trent. I'm an acquaintance of your mama's. How are you?"
Morgul peeked out from behind his mother and chirped curiously. Looking up at Allya who nodded. "It's ok."
"Hey, buddy," Trent greeted the dragonling again, kneeling down like he would to greet a human baby. "How are you? You're a very handsome boy." He grinned up at Allya. "He's bigger than Flail, that's for sure."
Morgul squawked and ducked behind Allya as Trent knelt down but then slowly peeked back out at him again. 'Friendly, mama?' His little voice echoed in Allya's mind as he looked back at her, seeing her nod. 'He human? Funny human.'
"Morgul...be nice." Allya smirked a bit and looked at Trent. "He hasn't seen a human before. "Like...actual human/human."
Slowly, Morgul came out and sniffed at Trent's hand, giving a soft chirp
"It's okay," Trent said, holding his hand out.
He smiled as Morgul sniffed his hand. "How sweet," he said. "I wasn't sure if a dragon would react to me as well as a lizard, but you're a very nice boy, aren't you?"
He looked up at Allya. "You know my friend Serena? Well, she found this... I'm not sure if it counts as a dragon. It's got fur, and its wings are feathery. It was sort of a gift and we've been training him up together. Would you like to meet him?"
