He'd simply left it where she'd find it with a small note beside it. The painting probably still smelt like poor Lindsey if you had a nose for such things. The note however said....
Dear gorgeous nightmare,
You make the most beautiful art I've ever done and deserve to have the first piece I did of you.
From. A secret admirer
Maze smelled the painting before she saw it, sitting right there in the hallway with the hatch that led down to the dungeon. She smiled to herself. Now here, at last, was an admirer who might be worthy of her attention. "It's good," she said aloud. She picked it up, cradling it lightly, and carried it in the other direction, towards the elevator that led to her floor. Best to get it somewhere safe before the vampires who had taken to frequenting Lux found it.
"Wonder who made it?" she murmured to herself as she was coming back out.
He hadn't stayed close enough to be spotted or for her or even his buddies to know the real reason he'd again included this stop on their usual bar crawl but across the bar he was amongst one of the groups of patrons that consisted of Nash sitting with an arm about a girls shoulders as he listened rather annoyed looking to something Dixie was going on about.
Next to him Rail sat folding a tiny dove out of a napkin and not really paying attention, despite the sound of Zayne's cackling next to him.
"Ok we definitely know what you did dio shit now..... Do yourself a favor and end it there. We all have an imagination here" Indigo smarted finally interrupting the others story about why he hadn't shown up with his recent fling Lindsey.
"Ok fine.... Details in the car but .... It was marvelous" Dixie mused grinning rather stupidly.
